Auggie just wants to be a regular ten-year-old. He does regular things—like eating ice cream and playing on his Xbox—and feels ordinary on the inside. But ordinary kids don’t cause others to run away on the playground or get stared at everywhere they go.

Born with a severe facial difference, Auggie has been home-schooled by his parents until now. For the first time, he’s going to a real school—and he’s nervous. All he wants is to be accepted. But can he show his new classmates that, underneath it all, he’s just like them?
